I came across a note from someone thanking us for the Audio Bible we had sent to one of her parents who had Alzheimer's. That note reminded me of the International Conference on Alzheimer's we attended. The attendees were doctors and researchers who specialized in the research and treatment of Alzheimer's disease. One of the doctors who came by our booth told me they used the Bible with some of their patients to stimulate their memory. There was a marked improvement in the cognitive skills of patients who in the past had some familiarity with the Bible. Of course as the disease progresses, the patient's ability to read becomes less. The doctor was happy to know that a free Audio Bible was available for his patients. This will enable them to continue to use the Bible even after they lose the ability to read.

Responses from Recipients

I was just given a couple of thank you notes we received from two people who had received our Audio Bibles. They were a blessing to me and I wanted to share them with you. The first note is from a lady who recently experienced vision loss. The second note is from someone who spent a number of days in rehab, and found the Bible a great comfort.
